ONGOING MINISTRY NEEDS
Financial assistance: Monetary gifts are used to pay the rent for the ministry storage units, for upkeep and gas for the van, and for the prescription and bus ticket ministries. Donations may be mailed to 1037 Elmwood Ave, Box 11, Columbia, 29201, made through your bank's bill pay feature, or made via the Square Up link on the website.
New backpacks, hoodies, t-shirts, and toiletries are needed for the Thanksgiving Bash and Anniversary Celebration events at which these items are distributed.
Women's Clothing: Conservative shirts, pants/jeans, shoes. Also new underwear, new bras, and new socks.
Men’s Clothing: Shirts, pants/jeans (especially waist sizes 28-34), belts, new underwear, and new socks.
Warm clothing and blankets for winter: Coats, blankets, hooded sweatshirts, gloves, knitted caps (toboggans), warm socks and footwear.
Lightweight clothing for summer: T-shirts, pants/shorts, underwear, socks.
Toiletries: Toothpaste, toothbrushes, hair care, deodorant (travel size works well), razors, first aid kits, women's products, wash cloths.
Furniture and household items: For those transitioning off the streets.
Miscellaneous: Reading glasses, large print Bibles.
Prepared Food: Turkey, ham, chicken, mac and cheese, sweet potato casserole, veggies, cranberries, desserts. sodas needed 3 times per year for the Thanksgiving Bash (November), the Christmas Day Meal, and the Anniversary Celebration (April).
Non-Perishable Foods for the Thursday Meal: Individual serving sizes of Vienna sausage, Beanie Weenies, chips, cookies, fruit cups, trail mix, crackers, and candy (non-melting).
Sandwich Makers: To make 100 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches or meat and cheese sandwiches for the Thursday Meal.
Canned goods and non-perishable food: For seniors and families in need.
Bottled water: for meals and distribution as needed.
Volunteers: People willing to serve those in need.
Prayer Warriors: Volunteers who would like to pray with our clients.
Prayer: For Pastor Oscar and his ministry team; for the homeless.
